We had lots of fun on the ship itself. Dave got to participate in a three-point basketball competition and then a free-throw competition. There was always good food available. One night went to an art seminar where we learned about different art techniques and different artists. That was fun.

We went to a show where there was a comedian that made me laugh so hard that I was wiping my eyes and the first night we went through a muster drill where we lined up at our designated life boat stations with our life jackets on just incase we had to play Titanic. But one night at 11:30 pm the ship hosted a Chocolate Buffet. They had lots of chocolate statues and cakes and candies and all kinds of good stuff. The line for the buffet wound up and down the stairs, it was pretty long. At night when we would come back to our rooms to go to bed (that was pretty much the only time spent in our rooms)

we would

be surprised by a new towel animal. Sometimes they would sit on our bed or hang from the ceiling. My favorites had to be the bat and the monkey. These animals are so popular with cruise guests that you can actually purchase sewn towles animals in one of the shops on the ship. I think I even saw a towel animal folding class on the schedules events paper we got every night. How fun is that. I think I could figure out the bat one, but the towel monkey looked hard to do.
