Teagan Video

We were playing around with the video camera today. I wanted to catch Teagan singing and dancing to some of my sheet music. She is so cute when she wiggles her hips. But, alas, all I could get her to do on camera was pick up the scattered Easter eggs. Oh well. She's still cute. And I think that she really meant Grandma even though she says Grandpa. Teagan is such a clown. She loves to goof off for people and it makes things really fun at our home. I'm glad we got a video camera, it's a good way to catch some Teagan moments that would be hard to get with a traditional camera.

12 Weeks

Well, my little bundle of squirming joy has hit the 12 week milestone. He will soon be opening and closing his little fingers, his toes will curl and his eyes will clench. He's about the size of a lime and weighs about 1/2 an ounce. If I were to poke at him, he would probably try to move out of the way, even though I wouldn't be able to feel him do it. I got a perscription from my doctor to pick up some puke pills and they do help some. I'm able to eat without gagging, it's a great feeling. At my last appointment we could here the baby's heartbeat for about 5 seconds and it was a nice strong heartbeat. Only 8 more weeks to go before we find out the gender during an ultrasound.

Hi-Tech

Dave did something nice for me this last weekend. He fulfilled my wishes and bought us a video camera. I've been wanting one for some time to record our kids growing up and all of that fun home video stuff. So here is a little clip of Morgan on her new bike for the first time this year, and she is even sporting her new bike helmet. Sorry about the Teagan noise at the end. I couldn't figure out how to edit my movie. I'll have to call Faith for some tech support or something.

So Long, Rapunzel

Morgan + scizzors + Rupunzel. Do we see where this is going? This weekend Morgan came into my room with her arms over her head. Dave and I immediatly put two and two together and started to assess the damage. It could have been worse, I guess, but Dave was still furious. He really loved her hair. Morgan felt really bad about what she did. I was trying to explain to her that we would have to cut her hair to make it look better and she cried and then I cried because I felt so bad for her. She asked me through the sniffles and tears, "Am I going to be bald?" She was seriously distraught. So I made sure to take some pictures, because you know this will eventually be funny, and got her ready for some emergency hair therapy. The lady at Great Clips was pretty good and this was not the first case of scizzor curiosty she had seen. She managed to give Morgan a really cute summer bob and trimmed up her bangs. Morgan adores her new haircut and has to point it out to everyone she sees. And I don't know if it's possible, but I think she's a little more wild with this new sassy hairdo.

Space to Play

With the departure of Gin and Morley came the oppertunity to free up some space. Dave and I decided to utilize this space by creating a toy room. One of the nice things about this room is that it can get messy and nobody cares. If we don't want anyone to see the mess, we just shut the door. Woohoo! And it has freed up a lot of space upstairs like the hall and the girls room. Eventually this room willl belong to Morgan, but for now it's a nice retreat for the kids and their friends.

She's Finally Here!

I know this is probably old news by now, but Aine is here! I am so excited for Faith and Spencer and so are my kids. Morgan has been going around for a week saying, "Faith is a mommy and Spencer is a daddy!". Now I just have to wait for this cold to go away so I can actually spend some time with my little niece. Because every kid can be so different, I'm not one to usually give out advice. But I will say, take a picture almost every day and you will be amazed at how much they can change in just 24 hours. Aine has already started to fill out on the face andit's just a matter of time before her arms and legs get it too. I'm still so Excited!
