Here Fishy, Fishie, Phishee

I came home from a fun filled night of ice cream, caramel and family fun to find that my husband had taken my kids to get a surprise. They've been asking for a pet for some time and Dave has finally granted their wishes by letting them get a couple of goldfish. They are pretty cute, for goldfish. Morgan picked out the treasure chest and Teagan picked out the pirate skull. As Teag would say herself, "Can you believe it?". Morgan officially named the orange-nosed fish Rachael and the white-nosed fish Cookie. Everybody come over some time and welcome them to the family.

This Is Business

When Aine eats, she means business. I've never seen a little kid open there mouth so wide just for squash. I mean, squash is good and all... It kind of reminds me of a snake dislocating their jaw to swallow their prey. Ha ha! She is so freakin' cute that I just want to wrap my arms around her and squeeze the chubby wubby. I can't help it, she draws me in every time.

Job Shadow?

We had so much fun with Catie this weekend. We are always excited to spend time with the coolest, funnest aunt ever. These pictures make me laugh. Morgan is so crazy! We couldn't even get her to take a smiling picture.

And Friday morning we discovered that Catie had a hidden talent. She can do crazy wicked things with her eyes. Luckily I got her doing her totally awesome trick on camera. :)

Look At My Big Boy

Why does time have to slip away from me? I've made a resolution to take more pictures of my kids, especially Sandon. Look at how much he has already grown. He can sit up in his dinner chair all by himself. I need to get more videos of him talking to himself. It cracks me up everytime and Dave just looks at me like I'm going crazy or something.

Mickey For Breakfast

We had Teagan's little boyfriend Justin over for breakfast bright and early this morning. Mo and Teag love to have him over for playdates, they all play really well together. But I wanted to make sure that these kids would stop playing and eat so I made a little treat. Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Pancakes. It took me way back. Mom would make chocolate chip pancakes and Mickey Mouse pancakes but I don't ever remember having the two put together. Anyway, breakfast was a success. Justin ate better than the girls, which is unusual at my house.

Duhhh Uhh...Happy Birthday!

My "Little Mo" turned 5 today. The elephant in the picture is named Squirt Elle and shares the same birthday as Morgan. You can't really tell from the pictures, but she has a matching pink sequin purse to accessorize with her evening gown. Not to be left out, Teagan had to have her picture taken with her build-a-bear too (and I can't remember her name). Morgan is really looking forward to her party on Saturday. In fact, she has refused to recognize this day as her official birthday. She says that it's not really her birthday until she has her friends come over for her birthday party. She wants everybody to yell "Surprise!". She makes me laugh. We are going to have a dozen 4/5 year olds at our house, and I am going to try and keep them entertained for an hour and a half. Wish me luck, this should be fun.

Dear Elder

I have to take pictures like this to prove to some people that Dave can be silly, just like the rest of us. Last week we wrote and drew letters to send to Chris on his mission. Morgan's letter had a drawing of a motorcycle. I printed off some pictures of Chris on his mission so the girls could see where he was and what he was doing. It sure looks cold up there in Alaska, Brrr!
