We had Teagan's little boyfriend Justin over for breakfast bright and early this morning. Mo and Teag love to have him over for playdates, they all play really well together. But I wanted to make sure that these kids would stop playing and eat so I made a little treat. Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Pancakes. It took me way back. Mom would make
chocolate chip pancakes and Mickey Mouse pancakes but I don't ever remember having the two put together. Anyway, breakfast was a success. Justin ate better than the girls, which is unusual at my house.

Hey Charity! This post reminded me of when I was little. My mom would make all sorts of animals and stuff out of pancakes. My favorite was a caterpillar made from lots of dollar size pancakes. She of course had little candies for the eyes, etc... Funny thing is I think she did it for entertainment factor for herself because I would have eaten plain ol' pancakes. LOL.
That is such a cute idea! What other animals would your mom do? I think I'll make caterpillers next time.
Those are adorable. I don't know how your kids are patient enough to wait while you make those cute little faces on the pancakes. Aine would be screaming at me to just get the dang pancake on her plate already! Can we trade kids?
Oh how cute! But if you look at the mickey mouses ina certain way the noses look like frowny faces...just thought I would bring that up:$
