Dave thinks this is the three-legged buffalo that posed for the buffalo nickel. (I don't think it's old enough, maybe one of his progenitors.)While in Yellowstone we saw two bears, one wolf, countless buffalo, elk, ravens and some other small creatures. Morgan enlisted as a junior ranger. We got to see Old Faithful herself eventually blow up into the sky. Drove over Fishing Bridge. Raided the Yellowstone Store. Mailed some postcards. Looked down the gorge of the "Grand Canyon". And we were only there for a day.

Holy crap you saw bears and a wolf? I'm so jealous. All the countless times I've been to Yellowstone I've never seen either. I can do without the bears but I would LOVE to see a wolf!! Where were you guys at?
I want to get up there so bad. My oldest is dying to go.
