It's A Jungle Out There

This is what happens when you leave for a week.

I had patches of grass that were over 12 inches tall and had gone to seed!

When we left, there was just a bare tree without any buds.

The weeds have overtaken my flowerbeds.
What happened here while we were gone?

I see those Malva plants you got long ago have taken over... are you calling those weeds? LOL. They look like they've become one! They had a party while you were gone. Ha ha ha.

They have totally taken over!!! How do we get rid of them, ha ha?! They just really like where they are. I wish my lilac bushes would have had a party, they're so tiny.

Got to love this time of year. Plenty of rain and sunshine and warm weather. Perfect for those plants. :)

Well, Malva's often come back from seed. You have the perfect place for them because they like the heat reflected from your house. To get rid of them you will most likely have to rip every single Malva plant out and add more dirt. You may still get some new seedlings pop up from seed though so you'd have to watch it carefully and rip them out the moment you spot them. Whenever you find a plant that takes over that much, it's almost impossible to be able to keep just one. Unless you be sure to cut them down right after they bloom to prevent them from seeding. Good luck... LOL!
