Cavernous Hemangioma?

What the heck is that? Well, it's like a strawberry mark but deeper under the skin so appears more blue than red, it looks like a puffy hematoma (a bruise). Sandon has one on his right forearm. We went to the pediatrician's yesterday for the standard 2 week follow-up and everything went really good. The doctor didn't seem too concerned about it but still wanted to have "the bruise" checked out by a specialist. So today we're making the trek up to Primary Children's to have an ultrasound done on his arm. Wish us luck. We'll keep you updated.
