Christmas Tree Instructions


Step 1: Trace a circle onto a piece of paper and cut it out.


Step 2: Fold the circle in half


Step 3: Fold in half again...


...and again until it looks like this.


Step 4: Cut alternating lines into the triangle. This is the tricky part. If you can see from the picture, she is not cutting all the way to the edge. If you cut all the way to the edge, you cut off the bottom of your tree and you just have a smaller tree. I found the "Cut and Flip" method the easiest where you cut the line, turn it over, and cut the line, turn it over...



Step 5: Carefully unfold your triangle so that it looks like picture above.


Step 6: Stretch out your tree and enjoy.


We hang our trees from the ceiling using simple scotch tape at home. Dave hangs his trees at working using pins and sticking them into the false ceiling. These trees would be really fun if we had some colored paper, especially if the paper had a different color on each side.
