That Time Again...School!

Morgan allowed me to take some pictures of her this morning before taking her to school. Since we had some extra time I took a few more pictures than "some". Mo was very patient with me this morning.

Sandon decided to come out and get in on some of the action. What do you think of his bed head?
Teag officially starts school next week so watch for more school pictures. I hope she will be as patient with me as Mo was. Teag has developed a little bit of "I'm Grown Up So I Don't Need Mom Anymore" attitude. I've never seen a kid roll their eyes so well and so often.

Jill's Wedding

This was a busy day; two weddings and a family reunion. I wish i could have made it to all events and somehow transported myself from Brigham City to Grantsville. But since my sister-in-law asked me to take her wedding pictures a while ago I guess my decision was already made.

Just keep in mind that I'm not pretending to be a professional photographer and I don't have all of the lenses and equipment I would like. Taking pictures is just something I like to do on the side.

Flower Girl

Teag got to be one of the flower girls for my sister-in-law's wedding.

And she was thrilled. So the night before the wedding she practiced.

She and her little cousin got to lead the procession.

After the wedding, and after the luncheon, and after the reception, when the lighting was a little better, we got these pictures with Aunt Jill.

Soccer Success

We signed the girls up for Soccer this spring and it was awesome for Morgan. She loved it! Many of the games were rained out and canceled because of the unusually wet weather we've been having this year. It was 50-something degrees and extremely windy during her first game, but it didn't dampen her enthusiasm to play. She made it to all but one of the games. Now that the season is over, she wants to try out karate. Anyone know ofa good place?

Braces

Morgan is now officially the youngest kid I've known who has needed to get braces.

Up close and personal. She has springs on the wires where her teeth are missing to make room for her teeth coming in.

Checking herself out in the mirror. On the way home she was so funny. She said to me, "Mom! I'm so excited to get braces. I've always wanted braces!" Dave and I just keep telling her how beautiful she looks. She now has a daily hygiene regime that rivals mine.

Boo Boo

Teagan tried riding Mo's bike last night and put her teeth through her lip. Doesn't she look so sad? I can still see the scar on my lip where my teeth went through. I think it happens at least once in every family.

New Ambition

I love playing this instrument! I play everyday and am slowly improving. I can't wait to play and every time I raise my bow, I feel a little more confident and the notes sound crisper and cleaner.

First I would like to take this rare opportunity to get mushy and thank my wonderful husband for indulging my musical interests. He has always been encouraging of my musical fascinations and talents. I love him for that! Music is such a big part of who I am. So when I told him that I was interested in playing the violin, we went together to Summerhay's Fiddle Fest and found me a violin.
Next, I would like to thank my very talented niece, Camille, for being excited with me and agreeing to teach me what she knows. She's a wonderful teacher. She's patient and forgiving and flexible when it comes to lessons.
And last, I would like to thank everyone in the Prows house for enduring the screeching and sour notes when I come over for lessons. I promise not to screech forever :)
