So this is a panorama taken at school during my photography class. I'm excited to go out and shoot some more panoramas because Photoshop makes it so easy to stitch them together. I'm willing to drive an hour away. Can anyone suggest some cool places to go shoot pictures?

It Looks Bad...

Pretty sure it's a reaction to the amoxicillin. Good news is that he's still acting normal and can breath.

Where Are Ya Goin'?

Sandon has learned a new trick. Randomly he will bring me his coat, and hat if he can find it, and ask me to put it on for him. I can't tell if that means he's ready to go or if he's a little chilly. It's not like I'm giving off departure signals. I'm not usually near the door or jingling my keys. Maybe the kid just really likes his coat. He will wear it for a while and then take it off. I'll find it on the floor and then hang it up. And then he'll go get his coat and we start the whole thing over again. Whatever!

Our Little Sunshine, RIP

The beloved, cheerful little Aphid was discovered dead in his home this morning. The cause of death was assumed to be starvation due to the moldy raisin found in the corner of his bowl. A memorial fund has been set up in honor of Aphid and all donations can be dropped off at the Woodland residence. The family/owners are doing well despite the tragic and sudden circumstances in which he left this world.

"He was graciously complacent to be housed in a glass bowl, where he could be watched 24 hours a day. Just his presence was a cheerful reminder of warmer and longer days. But we find comfort in knowing that we will see him again. He is in a better place with his many brothers and sisters, perhaps teaching other ladybugs about the Creation and Plan of Salvation. This is not the end for Aphid, only the beginning."

This tragic death is just a reminder to all pet owners: that diligent, daily feeding and watchful care are important to your pet's survival and existence.

New Class, New Art (Hopefully...)

Just imagine yourself driving around a corner, downtown Salt Lake, and suddenly having your photograph taken by 25 amateur photographers standing in a line down the curb. This gray car actually drove around the block twice, it wanted the spotlight. I'm taking a new photography class this semester and I think I'm really going to enjoy it. Last night we played with shutter speed, hence the blurry backgrounds. Poor horse didn't have a chance. It was moving slow enough that everyone got it's picture, there was nowhere to hide. At least we weren't using our flashes.These shots were fun because the exposure was long enough that you couldn't see the car itself, just it's lights.
Talk about ghost lights. The best I could do for a tripod was to set my camera on the decorative posts guarding the sidewalk corners.
