Towel Face

There was a little towel sprite residing in my bathroom for a while. Weirdest thing, I don't know how she got there.

Art Homework: Part 1

Here ya go Faith ;) Some pictures of pictures I have been drawing for my art class. These are only a few so far. I have a toned drawing of my hand holding keys that is still waiting for a grade from my instructor. It will be posted later.
Celtic Drawing
Contour Drawing; hand drawn with one line

Upside-down Drawing; a copy of a Picasso self-portrait (This picture took me over 9 hours to complete; it is almost an exact likeness of the original.)
Here's the original.
Contour Drawing; done in wire on a foam board, also drawn with one line
(I've concluded that wire is a difficult medium to work with.)

He Loves Cake

Here are some pictures of our small little celebration we had for Sandon's first birthday. With me in school at night and grandmas and grandpas out of town and unavailable, we decided to have an intimate gathering of mommy, daddy, and big sisters. I want to apologize to aunts and uncles for not having a larger party and thank those who brought over sweet and thoughtful gifts.
Not quite sure how to handle the candle on fire.

The look on his face says it all.

It's the first time I've really let him go and eat everything in site. I think he enjoyed it.

Teagan's Turn

Teagan's first year at preschool.

She would walk a little and then turn around to see if I was still there, watching.

She has been watching Morgan do this for years and is so excited that it is finally her turn.

Official First Day

I think there are 17 or 18 kids in her class.
Because Morgan was the first one in line, she got to hold the door open for everyone else.

Teagan and Morgan waiting before anyone else got there. We were only 10 minutes early. But I guess nobody else shows up until right before class starts.

She loved school! She gets to sit at the blue table with one of her little boyfriends from preschool. And she loved singing and reviewing her colors today.

So Ready For School

Morgan starts school today.

The first thing Morgan did this morning was get dressed in her new school clothes and put on her backpack.

Teagan also wanted to wear some of her new clothes and get her picture taken, so I indulged her.
(She doesn't start until next week but don't tell her that or she gets resistant and angry.)
