Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

We started the holiday baking a little early this year. Janell and I thought we would humor the kids and make sugar cookies (actually, we were more excited about it than they were ;). Everything started out nice and neat, but by the time we were done, there were sprinkles and flour all over the place. Here are a few pictures of our adventure.

Sandon Smiles

This kid is good, he already knows how to get away with stuff. I am so tired, it's freakin' 3:00 am, and Sandon has been screaming at the top of his lungs,"Feed me! I'm starving!". I sleepily make my way to his room, holding the walls, trying not to bump into anything. We set ourselves up in the living room so we don't wake anyone else up and get started with our feeding routine. By this time, Sandon has remembered that he ate only two hours ago and goes back to sleep, refusing to open his mouth. I am so frustrated! I could be in bed, dreaming! I look down at this kid and he's smiling big and wide. In an instant my heart melts and he is forgiven. This kid can really work it.

this picture is one of Sandon's first smiles. Doesn't he look like he can get away with anything?

Sunday Ready

Is there anything cuter than little babies dressed like big kids? I found these sweet Sunday clothes for Sandon and I couldn't wait to put them on him. I thought he looked so handsome. His pants even have awesome cargo pockets!

Computer Wiz

What kinds of things did you like doing when you were a 4-year-old kid? I liked playing with my toys, coloring, and playing outside. Morgan likes to do all of those things too, but one of her favorite pastimes is to get on the computer and play games online. Her favorite internet site is PBSkids.org. And when she's all done playing, she gets off the internet and shuts down the computer all by herself. Is this a sign of the times?

100!

I was going to do something fun to commemorate my 100 post and I totally missed it! I think I actually have 105 posts now. Oh well, I'll shoot for something spectacular and meaningful when I reach 150 posts.

I Am a Good Girl

Yesterday Morgan wrote out her list for Santa Claus (I helped by writing down the toys she wanted). She did really good writing her letters. My favorite part of the letter is down at the bottom where it says, "I am a good girl", added as an afterthought.

Happy Halloween... Bwa Ha Ha Ha

Well, here they are as promised, pictures of the girls in their costumes.

Teagan got brave and tried her costume on for the first time yesterday even though we've had it for over a month. And she loved it! She didn't want to take it off! Hmph, kids.

And then there is Morgan, who wore her costume almost every day since we bought it.
