New Sandon Pictures

He reminds me of a BooBah in this picture.

Sandon David

He's here! He's here! I still can't believe that it finally happened. He was born on the 23rd, 8:49 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and measuring 21 1/2 inches long. He's pretty good natured, doesn't cry much. We'll see how he's doing in a few weeks. Here are some of my favorite pictures from his first days on earth.

Me and my kids. One big happy family. (At least in this photo. Hee hee)

This shot kind of reminds me of a mug shot just because you get to see his profile and the lighting isn't very good. Maybe the FBI on his shirt has something to do with it too.

My Dad's a pro by now. See how comfortable he looks with a baby in his arms?

Dave is such a good Dad. My kids are so lucky.

Aine looks so big now compared to Sandon. She was being so cute even though she was tired.

And my Mom, the best Mom in the whole world. Isn't she cute? She's the best Grandma too!

Big Mama

I guess one doesn't realize how big you actually are until a profile picture is taken. Hee hee. I thought I would take a before picture hoping the after picture will be tomorrow or the next day. Does that make sense?

Popcorn Problem

There are some who learn from others mistakes and there are some who learn from their own mistakes. Then you have the small percentage of people who never learn. I'm afraid that Teagan may be part of the small percentage. Tonight, at about 9:30, Dave and I made another trip to Insta-care with Teagan so they could remove a kernel of popcorn from her right nostril. I can't think of any possible way to classify this as accidental. She purposefully shoved this round, slippery thing up her nose. Dave and I learned from the previous experience not to try anything ourselves and took her straight into the professionals. This time it only took about 5 minutes to get it out. She stilled screamed throughout the whole experience but as soon as they got the kernel out she stopped, she picked out her sucker and said, "That wasn't too bad". KIDS! Are there any other parents out there who wish there were manuals for these puzzles we call children?

Morgan's Halloween Costume

I think this costume is a butterfly, I think. Morgan probably likes it because it's pink and purple. I like it because it looks warm. A lot warmer than her original costume idea, a ballerina.
The bonus about the whole thing is that it was on sale! Woohoo!

37 Weeks

First, I have to thank Mom for coming downtown to watch the girls while I went to my appointment. They loved having you read them stories and playing puppets. The appointment went really well, better than expected actually. I'm excited to say that I am 50% effaced and dilated to a 3. Woohoo. Maybe Dave won't have to worry about having a baby on his birthday after all. As far as the baby goes, he's officially full-term. So we're good to go. We're making wagers on the delivery date already (without betting any real money, of course). Dad says by Friday, noon. Mom says by Wednesday next week. My Father-in-law says sometime during the week of the 21st (he didn't want to pin down a day). Any of you guys out there have any bets?

Grandpa's Silly

We love it when Grandma and Grandpa come over. One look at Teagan's face says it all. Thanks Mom and Dad for visiting and spending time with us. Grandpa always makes it exciting. He spent almost the whole visit last week reading books to my kids. You guys are the best!
