Graduation!

Just like everyone else around here, we had a graduation to attend this year. Today Morgan had her end-of-year program at pre-school. I was able to get it all on video for Dave who couldn't make it. She even had her own little part. She had to recite Humpty Dumpty and her whole class sang songs about letters, numbers and colors. That's her little friend Ivy sitting next to her. She made a lot of new friends and learned so many new things. She will miss not going during the summer but she will see all of her friends again next fall.

Bring it On

This weekend I spent some time removing wallpaper and then painting Morgan's new room. We went to Home Depot so she could pick out some colors to paint the walls. A sunny yellow and Buzz Lightyear green now brighten things up around here. Next step is to add a couplemore coats of paint, replace the carpet and then start bringing in the bed and dressers. I feel like we are actually getting somewhere now, making progress. It won't be too much longer until we have another little one sharing the room with Teagan.

Happy Anniversary to Us

Morgan decided to go to the zoo to celebrate Dave and my 7th anniversary and we had a lot of fun. We got there as they were opening and it was nice and cool. They had the big birds out and Dave got some really good calendar pictures. Morgan and Teagan liked all of the animals but I think some of their favorites were the monkeys and the black bears. They had lots of baby animals there including some monkeys, a giraffe, penguins, and an orangutan. After the zoo we went to lunch and then mowed the lawn for Dad and Teresa. Woohoo! It has been a great 7 years.

20 Weeks

We hit the 20 week mark which means ultrasound. And we are so excited to finally have a boy! Morgan is really happy about it too but Teag wants nothing to do with it. Oh well, you can't please everybody. I'm looking forward to short, spiky haircuts, blue and green clothing, balls, trucks, and planes. The picture above is of the bottom of his feet. From the ultrasound it looks like he will be a spitting image of his daddy. Long face and long legs. He is about the size of a banana from head to toe. I'm now getting ready to take Tinkerbell off the walls upstairs and make it something a little more gender friendly for both a boy and a girl since Teagan will still be sharing a room with the baby. Probably big bright circles.

The Pledge of Allegience by a 4 Year-Old

Goofy Teagan

The girls were being so funny last night that I had to pull out the video camera. Teagan is one that will act goofy to make others feel good. This is just another one of her silly moods. By the way, Teagan is the one who snorts in the beginning of the clip.

Sidewalk Art Exhibit

Morgan is so excited about her new sidewalk chalk and it's potentials, but her Mom, being the Crayola freak that she is, just happens to be ecstatic about the chalk and it's possibilities. Hee hee. We spent some of our time this morning creating masterpieces for Daddy to study after work tonight. I left a little message for him myself. Hopefully he'll catch on to my subtle hint. ;)
